Reds Search For Win At Spurs

I fancy him to score tomorrow...
Liverpool make the long journey down South tomorrow to face Harry Redknapp's Tottenham Hotspur. The London side got off the mark properly in their last league game against Wolves whilst Liverpool hit a stumbling block at Stoke.

Liverpool are without Glen Johnson for this one as his niggling hamstring injury appears to be back. Steven Gerrard was expected by some to feature tomorrow but it is perhaps more likely that Dalglish will ease him in, starting with the cup game against Brighton, i wouldn't be too surprised to see him on the bench though.

As for Tottenham, Ledley King who came back and was vital in the Wolves win is a possible doubt. So too are Gallas, Van Der Vaart and Lennon. Michael Dawson is also out but with a squad as big as Spurs, Harry shouldn't have too many problems choosing replacements for the missing faces.

We have to go back to 2008 to find a Liverpool win at White Hart Lane. The Reds won 2-0, Spurs in all three other occasions in the league at home though have beaten us by just the one goal, so hopefully Liverpool can do something about that tomorrow.

Tottenham of course beat Liverpool in their last game of the season last year. Dalglish looked like he'd already found his footing back then so a revenge mission will be on the books for the Liverpool manager.

Despite the set back against Stoke, it was fair to say Liverpool were lively and creating plenty of chances. Unlike Stoke, i can't see Spurs defending for 90 minutes so the gaps should appear for Liverpool to create an attack.

I myself am going to say 2-1 to Liverpool tomorrow with Dirk Kuyt first goalscorer. In fact, come to think of it, if i have a quid lying around that i don't need for bus fare next week, I'm gonna put that on later! Lol.

Here's hoping for an exciting game and three points for the Reds!
