Can Liverpool Take Three Points From The Saints?

It's Southampton for Liverpool at Anfield tomorrow as Brendan Rodgers aims to get back to winning ways after suffering a defeat at the hands of Villas Boas' Spurs. It should be a win on paper for Liverpool on Saturday but many fans are remaining cautious with the difficulty of scoring still well and truly looming over the Reds.

It's good news on the injury front for Liverpool as Lucas Leiva is back and available for manager Brendan Rodgers, it will be interesting to see if he plays what with Joe Allen in the mix at the moment and if he does start what sort of role/place will he take up? Joe Cole is also available again after recovering from a knock earlier in the week.

Southampton are also lucky enough not to have many complaints team wise, only Danny Fox is a doubt after suffering a knee problem.

Southampton are currently in 18th place but their league position doesn't reflect their recent run of form. The Saint's haven't lost in their last four league games …

Liverpool travel to Stoke tomorrow for their first match after the annoying international break. Before the internationals got in the way Liverpool were playing some good football and will be looking to continue their form after that successful 3-1 victory over Bolton.

Stoke are also making a great start to their Premier League campaign, yet to lose a game this season so far.

The Britannia is a difficult place to go for any club and by no means is this any different for Liverpool. The last time we won there was in 2000. Ok, we put 8 goals past them... but they've come a long way to building up their fortress since then.

Record signing for Stoke Peter Crouch will be catching the attention of many Liverpool players and fans tomorrow as he looks to get his Stoke career up and running. The strikers presence in the box is often a hard threat to deal with but hopefully the likes of Jamie Carragher and Co will be familiar with what's to come.
