Which Reds Will Make Your Fantasy Football Team?

It's that time of year again when all the fantasy football experts come crawling out of the woodwork, ready to find the perfect witty team name alongside a scribbled down list of potential forwards, midfielders, defenders and the most reliable goalkeeper money can buy. At the same time, I always seem to find myself joining in, usually via a work's league and then after about two months I completely forget about the whole thing but hey, it's all good fun eh?

So who I hear you ask will make my team from Jurgen Klopp's collection of players?* (Let me know on Twitter who will be making your own line ups! - @LFCKirstyLFC/@_TheLiverBird)

*On the assumption that most leagues will only accept three players from one Premier League team

Mamadou Sakho

Straight in there, first on the team sheet for me is Mamadou Sakho. He's had his ups and downs and I personally also questioned some of his performances last season while most were already well on the bandwagon however I expect to see him a lot more this season and believe more game time will further improve his already evident strong defensive talent.

Plus, with him in the side it gives me an excuse to name my team "Mamadou the hump, Mamadou the hump hump." ... Rizzle Kicks... Anyone? ... No? ... Ah you lot are no fun!

Georginio Wijnaldum

I'm not sure what the pricetags and ratings are yet for the Premier League fantasy football but I am hoping that Wijnaldum will be within a reasonable price range as he begins his career at Liverpool. He had a fantastic season at Newcastle last year and I believe he's the perfect player to rack up some points.

Skillful and one to rely on when it comes to both providing assists and scoring I have chosen him above the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino as I believe he is going to hit the ground running and get off to a great start in a Red shirt!

Daniel Sturridge

Last but certainly not least I'm going to have Daniel Sturridge, I bloody love the man and expect him to play a key role in Jurgen Klopp's plans next season. In the process I expect a high scoring campaign from the forward the only down side of course with Daniel is that injuries could strike however I feel this is a risk worth taking. Especially considering I'm not really that arsed about Fantasy Football and just like to claim the glory when I manage to be top of the league for like a week haha!
